This work reflects on the Tjupi Tjukurrpa Story (honey ant story) and its relationship with Papunya. The Tjupi dreamtime story is an elaborate songline stretching half way across Australia. This story is extremely important for the people of Papunya. "A long time ago many honey ants made their way to Warumpi from Kaltukutjarra. Once in Warumpi they all split up and went to their different countries". One Tjupi Pulirringu (became a mountiain) and is immortalised in Tjupi Puli (honey ant mountain). Tjupi Puli lies to the North-East of Papunya and features in many of this artists works.
