This painting depicts a scene from the Tjupi Tjukurrpa (honey ant dreaming) story belonging to Papunya. A man and a woman are shown together digging for honey ants. Some of them are escaping and in turn emerging to form the mountain. This honey ant has gone on to form Tjupi Puli (honey ant mountain) which can be seen today to the North-East of Papunya.
